There are 3 ways to support me as an artist.
The most obvious way is to buy their originals or reproductions. You can also commission an artist to create a one of a kind work of art for you. And there is also making a simple one time or recurring donation. Any financial contribution to my creative journey will be most appreciated.
The tried and true way to support me is to own an original or one of the many reproductions I have created. I have original preliminary pencil drawings, inked pages, scratchboard art and full-colored pencil drawings available. I also have art prints and Independent Comics to be collected. Shipping is free for all of those in the US and there is only a $10 additional fee for those outside the US.
This is the oldest way an artist has been able to survive in the world. In the past, it was the church and the royal family that supported the arts by setting up a commission. Now you have the opportunity to own an original work of art based on your own inspiration. Please consider reaching out to me with any thoughts you might have for a commission and I'll be more than happy to get started on creating it for you in your medium of choice.
My current commission rates are for the following (these prices are subject to change):
$25-$35 for an 8.5x11 inch pencil or ink drawing depending on the number of figures and details
$35-$55 for an 8.5x11 inch colored pencil drawing depending on the number of figures and details
$50-$100 for 11x17 inch pencil of ink drawing depending on the number of figures and details
$100-$400 for 11x17 inch colored pencil drawing on toned paper depending on the number of figures and details
$50-$100 for small (up to 8x10 inch) scratchboard art illustration
$100-$250 for large (9x12 or 11x14 inch) scratchboard art illustration
All paper-based commissions come matted with backing-board and protective sleeve. Scratchboard art comes framed in a black frame. Shipping is free for all of those in the US and there is only a $10 additional fee for those outside the US.
Please fill out this short form to let me know your idea and I’ll get back to you with a firm price quote.
Crowdfunding has become a very popular way in recent years to support artists online. I have run successful Kickstarter campaigns and a Patreon page in the past. Making a donation is the easiest way to support me without having to buy or commission something from me. This may seem odd to some, but I have been approached by some in the past on how to make a donation “simply because I like your art and what to see you create more of it.” I have set up a Paypal Donation button. I have setup a Paypal Donation button. Your donation can be for a one-time financial contribution or for a recurring payment made once a month.
The donate link will take you through the Paypal process for making a donation.
